The Porsche 550 Spyder is undoubtedly one of the brand’s most iconic cars of all time. Porsche 550 Spyder is the book produced in close collaboration with the Porsche Archive and world-renowned experts. In this book Stefan Bogner captures the Spyder’s simple and timeless design language and documents some of the rare originals. Among the models photographed and featured in the wonderful book is the Porsche 550 RS chassis 0047 by Progetto 33. This model was selected by Porsche for the book as one of the most successful and longest-running Porsche 550 RSs ever, driven to victory by the likes of Wolfgang Graf Berge, Hans Hermann, Richard von Frankenberg, Paul ‘Richie’ Ginther, Jack McAfee and the great Stirling Moss. The book is an elegant coffee-table book documenting the rare original models, while a separate factbook collects known and lesser-known information about this revolutionary sports car. Below are some wonderful pictures of the 550 taken by Stefan Bogner for the book.
